Hey, I’m Alex!

I quit my design agency job cold-turkey in mid 2021 and started my own design biz from scratch. It was scary AF, but I was determined to make it work. The only problem? I had NO idea wtf I was doing. I spent months and months guessing, experimenting, and failing before I found what worked for my studio. It was a hard slog, and there were so many times I wanted to throw in the towel (we’ve all been there - crying on the floor because everything felt like it was falling apart).

I remember all I wanted was for someone to say ‘Alex, this is what you should do next’. I really needed guidance from someone who had done EXACTLY what I wanted to do - but apart from high-investment 1:1 coaching programs, I couldn’t find the kind of support I needed.

Fastforward to today, and I’m now running a multi-6 figure design studio (now with a podcast and designer coaching). I’ve been able to move to the beach in my dream city, reduce my work hours (no more 12 hour days), grow my team, and build my community to more than 12k on Instagram. My biz feels the flowiest and simplest it’s ever been - but it took me a hell of a lot of mistakes to get here.

  • The Studio Society membership is a month-to-month membership, so you only need to commit for one month at a time! For best results, I’d recommend staying in the membership for 3+ months.

  • You can cancel your membership anytime from your membership portal.

  • You can upgrade and downgrade your membership at any time from your membership portal.

  • While there’s no private 1:1 access to me, you will get close proximity access in a group setting during our hotseat coaching calls and workshops to ask me questions live. If you’re in the Slack community, you’ll have access to a group coaching space where you can ask me questions ANY time - day or night - and receive personalised feedback and support from me within 24-48 hours.

  • You can submit questions in advance for our hotseat coaching calls, which I’ll answer live. Calls are usually run at either 7am AEST or 4pm AEST.

  • The existing content is self-paced, so feel free to binge it as fast or slow as you want! Each month inside the membership we’ll have a monthly theme alongside new content and trainings. There’s no requirement to follow along live - the theme and content drops are there for those who wish to participate.
