Tonica’s owner, Hollie, was planning a business pivot, moving away from a personal brand and positioning herself as a high-end expert. Hollie was finding it difficult to keep consistent with her previous branding, and she was feeling increasingly disconnected from it. She also wanted to increase her prices and introduce a higher-ticket offer, but felt her branding was holding her back from doing so. Hollie wanted Tonica to be seen as a leader in the copywriting and strategy niche, so realised that along with her business pivot, she needed a total brand overhaul.
After diving deep into Tonica’s new business structure, target audience and future goals, it was clear we needed to pave a new path with the branding to really solidify Tonica as an established, high-end choice in the copywriting niche. Haven Studio created a branding identity for Hollie that felt sophisticated, fresh and modern, yet still had the approachable edge she was seeking. By using custom typography with flowing ligatures and a light weight, Tonica immediately has a high-end, luxurious aura. A colour palette inspired by the beach - but with a grounded and muted touch - keeps the brand feeling classy yet timeless. By keeping the brand minimal and clean with easy-to-follow brand guidelines, we made it simple for Hollie to keep her brand consistent and cohesive well into the future.
